Reliable two way center who can be deployed in any situation. Strong in the faceoff circle across all scenarios and trusted on special teams. A team first player and respected locker room presence, Slade combines an elite motor, relentless compete, and high hockey IQ to elevate every line he plays on. Currently studying at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan.
From his coaches, dorm parents, and teachers...
Slade is a player with excellent work habits, a strong sense of responsibility, and a great work ethic.
Slade gives a strong effort in both practices and games and consistently follows coaching instructions. Continuing to work consistently in the gym will support his ongoing physical and on-ice development.
Slade continues to be such a good citizen within our dormitory. Slade is such a good friend to others, and his kindness is apparent in everything he does. Slade is very good in meeting all the timelines required at Notre Dame. Slade, thank you for being so awesome.
Slade tends to all of his responsibilities: academic, athletic, and in Fred Hill Down Dorm. He has endured a difficult injury in a very mature way, minimizing it's impact on his day to day. He has kept up with his academics, maintains a positive attitude, and communicates well, which makes it a lot easier to support him in meeting his needs as he gets over this hurdle. It is a test of his perseverance and he is winning the race!! We really appreciate his contributions.
His consistent effort and ability to apply knowledge throughout the course has been impressive. He is well-prepared for the challenges of the next level of math and will continue to succeed with his positive work ethic and determination. Slade scored the highest grade in the class on the final exam!
Slade demonstrated an excellent attitude and work ethic from the moment he stepped into the Creative Writing 20 classroom. He was willing to work through the tedious parts of the writing process and this allowed for better writing. Despite Slade's challenges, due to his health in December and January, he was tremendously dedicated to completing the course.
Slade demonstrates strong engagement in class and has taken initiative by advocating for himself and seeking feedback on how to improve. He shows insight into the importance of studying habits and attention to detail, particularly regarding future assignments.
